HomeAid is a non-profit organization that builds shelters for the transitionally homeless. Every year they invite teams of developer, architect, interior designer, material suppliers and tradespeople to donate their services and materials to construct themed playhouses. The houses typically have air conditioning, electricity, surround sound and computers. The playhouses are auctioned off at a fundraising event and the proceeds fund the construction of the shelters.
